Light source

We recommend the use of energy efficient Compact Fluorescent Lamps. Across all the shade sizes we feel the B22 Globe distributes the light more effectively due to it's larger size, and also prefer it's aesthetic form within the shades. However you may also use the smaller B22 Bulb if you so desire.

Sustainable materials

The materials we have selected are from natural sustainable sources, and embody a long life span, thus ageing with grace over time:

Solid Tasmanian oak
Oak veneer
100% Wool felt upholstery

Tasmanian Oak is a non endangered timber species sourced from Australian sustainable forests, and is finished in a natural Australian biodegradable wood oil. The accompanying felt upholstery is made from 100% pure new Wool which is biodegradable and from a renewable resource, and does not contain any heavy metals or formaldehyde in the dying process.

Designed and made in Australia by the hands of local traditional craftsmen, thus strongly embodying a spirit of craft and the handmade. Bringing the role of the artisan back into design.

Warranty

A 12 month warranty applies to the entire Porcini Lighting range of products. Our products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials provided the products are used with a voltage supply within the range the product is designed to operate, are installed correctly by qualified personnel and have not been subject to misuse.

Memaké's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of faulty component parts of our products during the warranty period without charge provided the Purchaser returns the product to the place of purchase. Memaké will not be liable for charges incurred by the Purchaser for rectification, de-installation, re-installation unless the charges have been previously approved in writing by Memaké. This warranty does not apply to light sources or globes, whether supplied separately or as part of the product.

Self assembly

To ensure the quality and safety of each Lamp during transit, a great deal of time has gone into the design of the packaging. The Lamps have intentionally been packaged unassembled to achieve the best outcome during transit, and thus will require assembly upon arrival. Clear instructions are included, and each part is clearly labeled to help bring your beautiful Porcini to life.

Sustainable packaging

All of the packaging used is sustainable, recycled and can be further recycled at the end of it's life.
